Author instructions

• The paper submission and review process will be managed through the Elsevier Editorial System.
• Please submit your abstract (max. 300 words)/full paper (max. 6 pages) by selecting article type "SI: CIRP Design 2022"
• Authors can submit a full paper by the final deadline without having previously submitted an abstract.
• Abstract will serve to evaluate if the proposed paper fits the conference scope; the abstract acceptance does not guarantee the full paper acceptance.

Paper Publication

CIRP Design 2022 papers will be published on Procedia CIRP (by Elsevier B.V.), which is indexed in the EI Compendex and Scopus databases.

Guide For Elsevier Editorial System

1. Prepare your abstract/full paper as well as the Declaration of Interest statement.
2. Log in/Register to Elsevier Editorial Manager: Link Here
3. Under New Submissions Section, select “Submit New Manuscript” and follow the instructions:
   1. Set “Article Type” and under “Section/Category”  select “SI: CIRP Design 2022”  from the dropdown menu.
   2. In Section "Attach Files", click "Drag & Drop" to upload you abstract/full paper file as well as the Declaration of Interest statement.
   3. Fill in the paper data, make sure you also declare the Funding Information (required).
   4. Build PDF for Approval.
   5. Review and Approve your submission.
4. Upon successful submission of your abstract/full paper, you will receive an automated submission confirmation via email.
